1974 On Oct. 31: born in Sapporo, Hokkaido, JAPAN
1976 First became interested in music.
1979 Began practicing the piano.
1987 Began composing music, improvising and performing her originals at concerts.
1993 Began formal education of music at Sapporo Otani Junior College, majoring in classical piano and vocal.
2000 Ann Arbor, MI., U.S.A., she performed two concerts of her originals.
Sapporo, JAPAN: she performed two concerts of her originals Attended vocal training classes at a language school in Sapporo.
2002 Released her first CD Lake Erie in New York and moved to Tokyo.
2003 Produced music of a picture book "Heart no okurimono" which is written by Emi Hashino.
2004 Began playing Sri Lankan music for charity.
2006 Composed a theme song for the Hachiko bus of Shibuya-ku.

Sometimes people ask me what genre my music belongs to.
I am sure that it has a classical music background.
However, I like to incorporate various elements from different genres.
I would like to leave that question open.
I would just like to comfort you with my music.

I am really glad to hear people say, "your music healed me", "your music refreshed me."
I hope to make heart-warming music that feels like a familiar friend.
I would like to be an artist who honestly expresses herself.
